Hello to my future tutor families! My name is Triliyah Bowie, Leya for short. I recently received my undergraduate from Cardinal Stritch University in Psychology/Criminal Justice. I've been tutoring children for about four years and I also have prior experience with children that have learning disabilities, disorders, gone through trauma, etc. I want to continue to serve children as a career as I've developed a passion for helping them. I strive for children to succeed and to be a great advocate for them. After all, children are the next generation and to impact them positively will also make a positive impact on the future. I enjoy tutoring that involves reading, English, grammar, and writing for children between the ages of 6-11(1st-5th grade). I can also tutor elementary mathematics. I have and will continue to use strategies such as games, visual stimuli, rewards to make tutoring fun, etc. I also work to keep children motivated while tutoring.
